The event will offer many complimentary services and educational seminars, including free natural hair consultations, workshops, hairstyling, and product samples. There is a Children’s Corner, a family-friendly “zone” for children to play and parents to be educated on maintaining their children’s natural tresses. There will also be live entertainment from musical artist, Septymber, and DJ Tay Live.
Taliah Waajid has been in the natural hair care business for over 25 years. In 1988, after years of renting booth space at several salons, Taliah opened her first natural hair salon in Harlem, NY. Years later, in 1994, Taliah started the World Natural Hair, Health & Beauty Show™ with approximately 25 exhibitors and 150 attendees. It has now grown to over 140 exhibitors and over 30,000 attendees. Her specialized techniques, along with her years of experience, put her in the forefront of natural hair care and braiding services.
