I was just about 2 years into discovering this new found love of artistry and makeup. I had been researching online and familiarizing myself with makeup artists and gaining a few favorites along the way. I was like a BIGkid in the candy store. I decided I wanted to learn and eat from the master's table so to speak. So there was no better place to be served from the best other than The Makeup Show! I was in the midst our of modern day Makeup Masters! Looking back, I wish had known what I know now about networking and blogging. Now that I am blogging and sharing my experiences with the world, I'm really excited about my trip to the New York show in May. I'm still very grateful for my journey thus far. Every day I am learning and finding out something new about cosmetics, tools and expanding my craft. Here's a little picture story of my 1 day visit to Miami...

Meeting DeShawn and Debbie is one of my most memorable moments.
DeShawn gave me tons of info about foundations and a whole list of her go-to brands.
Debbie was the sweetest! We talked about those little amazing bottles of foundation of hers...
I also met the lovely, Brandalyn Fulton at FA's booth.
Roque is a dear heart of all hearts!!!
We chatted about airbrush makeup and his love for artistry!
Sharon and Billy B after his workshop on a Career in Makeup
Billy shared his journey with us.
There was lots of talk of what's in his kit and how he packs his makeup for travel.
I have shed a few tears because my journal I took notes in is missing...
