Simply Anna's Fashions and Creative Designs

It is with such pleasure that I'm able to blog about Simply Anna's. If you've ever met someone that had an lasting impression on you, you're able to understand how I feel.  That's what Mrs. Anna Battle does for everyone. She makes you wish you could keep her forever!!!! Honestly, you can. That's because after you've worked with Ms. Anna on creating and designing custom garments for yourself, you'll always come back for more.

I've had the wonderful experience of working with Simply Anna's for her 2012 Fall Fashion Show. I created the makeup looks and beauty experience for her show.  Such an amazing moment.

Mrs. Anna has been been in the design/tailoring business for over 20 years.  I'm always pleased when I can visit with her in the boutique and plunder in the fabric room.  She's just as lovely as her smile, and takes no breaks on speaking the truth about what works for you.

It is with great enthusiasm and excitement that I can introduce to some, and present to others...

I'm a super fan of Damask. Ms. Anna designed and tailored this blouse for me.

THE MAKEUP ARTIST THAT NEVER GROWS

I decided to Google my name.  I've done it before so it wasn't a big deal, nor did I expect to find something that I had never seen before. Well, that is just the opposite.

I saw title to a post that was unfamiliar to me and without hesitation selected it first.  It's a post by Jonathan Chick of Clarus Photography.  Immediately upon viewing the post my heart starting beating really fast.  I wanted to email him and ask, "Sir, can you Pleeeeeease remove this post?" In my mind, it does represent the best level of my work so I started to feel less-pleased with myself.

As I looked at the post, it hit me that, "it's ok!" It's okay because it represents the growth that I have elevated to over the years.

Thankful for growth.

As a human.

As an artist.

As a woman.

As a creative being.

Thankful for growth!

RECAP: #ShopTheAisle Blogger Style with @BabyShop at @Walmart

Hello my beautiful naturalistas!

This weekend I had the chance to attend Shop The Aisle Blogger Style with Trina of The Baby Shopaholic in Valdosta, GA. I really enjoyed the shopping event and was super excited to hang out with the ladies.

BabyShopa, in all her fabulousness shared tips and answered questions with Walmart shoppers.  The STA team did a great job with the event. The shoppers had the chance to not only get hair tips with BabyShopa but also get a lovely gift bag packed with samples!

If you haven't strolled the Natruals product section at your local WalMart, you're missing out.  You can now find brands like 4Naturals, Curl Care by Dr. Miracles, Curl Max, Taliah Waajid, Eden Body Works, U R Curly, Twisted Sista, Shea Moisture and Beautiful Textures to help you with your natural hair care journey.

Stay tuned for more from Shop The Aisle. You never know which one of your natural hair divas you'll see next!
